I am a single mother. I got injured on the job 6 1/2 years ago. I just had my 5th shoulder surgery on monday February2,2009. I have been jerked around so much by The State Insurance fund all these years with my income. I have survived about 3 years now on 132.21 a week. I dont feel this is right and I am very much thinking about sueing them. Here is my story in short on this, I left a job after 12 years, to go to another job with better pay and was able to actually afford benefits for my children, I worked this new job 2 years and tore cartlege in both shoulders, I went on compensation, when I was bringing in about 600 dollars a week on over time and making about 12 dollars an hour. now I am making 132.21 a week, and they treat me like they are the victum, and I did this on purpose. compinsation/state insurance fund, pays a retired Dr. like 800-1000 to go in their favor on exames on the injured like me, that is more then I make in a couple months it isnt fair. I dont drink or smoke, I have to take back peoples empties for extra money to pay bills. I get 230 dollars food stamps and medicaid, how fair is that?
Well my main thing is I want to start up a self sufficient farm, with solar and wind power. I have a piece of land picked out but dont know if the woman wants to sell it. I want to raise British White Cattle and Berkshire pigs, plus chickens for eggs and meat, and turkeys. I also want to put in blue berries, raspberries, black berries and pink grapes. I will need two barns and a couple silos, I have two caseIH tractors picked out have been looking at used. I have no start up money. But I read there is money for minorities(women), Grants for women but I seem to be getting the run around. I plan on grass feeding my pigs and cattle and also want to do some thing with the manure to reuse like compost, poop pots what ever and am willing to have experts come in and help and show me and what not. I was on a dairy farm growing up so I do have knowlege. Can any one help me? I have some house and barn plans picked out if it helps.
